Scenario: I have been commissioned by ukie to write a series of resource packs to be published on their website within the guides section.
I looked up some information about war thunder's audience, and found some information on how they play but unfortunately not much about who they are. Very few people seem to have actually researched this.
The average number of players playing tends to hover around 10k according to Steam, Although this number is likely higher due to this list only covering those who got the game through Steam rather than straight from the main site.

This chart helps to show a bit more about who plays the game. Although it is of a small sample size, the chart reveals that it is most commonly played by male 18-29 year olds.
The game's main websites say the game is rated 12 yet in comparison the game is mostly played by 18-29 year olds.
